Frequently Asked Questions

Which POS and store management systems are supported?

No universal production connector list is claimed today. Target systems include Toast, Square, 7shifts, Restaurant365, Olo, and delivery channels; exact adapters and permissions are scoped and verified with each design partner.

Does connecting SIDUS require hardware changes or register downtime?

The target integration model favors scoped cloud APIs and webhooks rather than new store hardware. The deployment method, permissions, and any operational impact must be confirmed for each selected system.

What happens if a third-party API or network feed experiences temporary downtime?

Target adapters are designed to fail closed and expose signal freshness rather than present stale data as current. Provider-specific buffering, retry, and recovery behavior must pass release validation before activation.

Need a custom POS or proprietary inventory connector?

SIDUS adapters ingest standardized CSV, REST API, or SFTP payloads without schema locks.
